Picture Collage, Ideas to Steal
taking tons of photographs and having them made into prints. I have so many and would love to do a little collage with all of them. I came across this postcard layout over at Ideas To Steal (which has tons of great home inspiration) and it really caught my eye. Since we are renting, I would use my Kamoi Paper masking tape so I don’t put tons of holes in the walls.

Wood Camera $32
becoming firewood, seriously. This wood camera is made in New Hampshire from hardwoods that were going to be used as firewood. It features a movable lens, see-thru view finder, nylon cord and is finished in food grade tung oil. It’s sold at ROMP, an online store for little ones that is worth checking out. Super cute toys that promote learning and are handmade from natural materials.

Anniel Sport Shoes
Anniel Sport shoes from Italy. Another brand I was introduced to during market (I have to say, learning about brands/designers makes long days and running around the city a bit more worthwhile). Annie Sport was created in 1976 for ballerinas. Recently, it gained popularity on the streets of Japan, which sparked the expansion of the collection. The silhouette has characteristics of a ballet slipper, but it’s offered in a ton of colors & styles – all with rubber-soles and suede or super-soft leather. Yes, please!

ELKA Raincoat $190
for the rainy weather that will be here before we know it. This raincoat from ELKA will come in super handy as we transition from winter to the warmer weather. It’s a Norse Projects/ELKA collaboration – ELKA’s a Danish brand that specializes in rainwear, so this piece is well made, and has a cool, updated design thanks to Norse. And the color palette – yellow/navy, red/navy or green/navy and solids – the primary colors are exactly what I think of when I think of rainwear. So, what’s it gonna be guys?

Le Cool Barcelona Guide Book $28
to Barcelona. The Le Cool Guide Book was my savior when I traveled to Spain. I got to see the city as more of a local rather than a tourist, something I always try to do when exploring new places. The book lead me to underground shops, local food joints and introduced me to many secrets spots in the city. Other Le Cool city guide books available are Madrid, Lisbon, London and Amsterdam.

know my way around a kitchen, i do know these salt and pepper cellars by Paulova would look great in one. Subtle, clean and perfect to hold some fleur de sel sea salt and black ground pepper.

Present Elbow Patch Crewneck
elbow patches these days. Clearly, we fully agree, seeing as this is our second posting in less than a month on the style. Here’s a good one from Present London, this crewneck is made in Scotland from 100% Super Geelong Lambswool and suede elbow patches, which make a simple statement. Good for 2011 and promised to be one you’ll reach back into your closet for years to come.
