Baja Surf Poncho
baja surf poncho brings me back to the days when I was young and spent summers hanging out on the beach. Actually the whole collection from boy+girl makes me want to be a kid again. Designed in Venice Beach, this line delivers comfy pieces made with natural fabrics of the highest quality. At Playtime NY, Megan and I had the chance to swoon over the styles from fall/holiday 2012 and meet the super cool creator of the brand, Christine Chang. The Mini Social
to The Mini Social. I get to buy my daughter all of the brands I love, for prices that fit my budget. This amazing site was started by two savvy friends and offers stylish, high-quality clothing and accessories for kids at discount prices. Infant Converse
casual shoes too and Converse are always a good way to go. The Infant’s Converse first star is a soft sole white leather shoe kids will be proud to look back on wearing. Like all Converse, they pretty much speak for themselves, but clearly unisex and very practical.

okay, maybe a bit more than mildly obsessed with 100%Gumdrop. The NYC line makes “smartymouth jewelry for smartypants girls” out of sterling silver, stainless steel and 14k gold dipped. All pieces are made in the USA and everything’s super cool. With one word necklaces like “wish” and “star” to numbers and flip flop necklaces like “hello/goodbye“, 100%Gumdrop‘s got you covered. the best things ARE free, and thanks to smaller I am now a fan of Tinkerlab. I’m someone who is always searching for creative activities to do with my daughter, and Tinkerlab will definitely be my new resource. Written by arts educator and mama of two, Rachelle Doorley, this site is full of art projects, science experiments and activities to get the imagination going in kids of all ages. A new favorite!

in Copenhagen founded LuckyBoySunday in 2007 on, get this, a Sunday. The duo designs a line of cuddly toys, pillows and more that are then produced by a talented group of women in Bolivia using 100% baby alpaca. All items are intended for a child’s room, but cool enough that if a piece ends up in the living room, it’s okay. And seeing as that’s pretty much inevitable, LuckyBoySunday’s a brand parents will be happy about too.
