Moulin Roty Edouard Scooter, $189
in France by Moulin Roty, a French brand that has two distinct collections: one is full of colorful, fun, plush toys and accessories; the other, classic consisting of more traditional wooden toys and pieces. While both assortments have a ton of charm and are perfect gifts, I’m drawn to the look and feel of some of the wooden pieces, like this little scooter. It’s handcrafted from solid beech wood and has a wicker basket perfect for storing toys and other knick-knacks while scooting around. The seat and basket are lined with a striped fabric that’s natural & red in tones, so pretty much gender neutral and pretty much sure to be a hit.

Mendleson Wooden Crate, $68
turned extraordinary with wooden crates, vintage tins and other antique pieces from Etsy shop FrenchByDesign. I was initially drawn to the vintage crates because they remind me of storage bins my first roommate in New York had that I loved. After perusing the shop though, I came across a lot of other items that would be pretty great additions to my current abode. The concept of the store was created by a French girl, Si. She relocated to the US and found it really difficult to find those items that are totally accessible in Europe. Si scouted flea markets, small towns, anywhere possible for vintage treasures – even sourcing some items during her frequent trips back to France. Legit, cool and completely one-of-a-kinds.

Little Vintage Jumper
French store, Little Vintage is just adorable. I don’t know how I came across the site, but was initially drawn to the vintage toys, like wooden carriages from the 1940′s and old-school desk and chair sets, but after clicking around, saw they also have some really sweet clothes for little ones. Also vintage and very French!
